The WHO and ISH have collaborated in the production of a Training Manual for Cardiovascular
Risk Asessment and Management.
This manual has been designed for training health
personnel, including non-physician health workers, to implement cardiovascular risk
assessment and management in a range of health care facilities in low- and medium-resource
settings. Given the variability of conditions and facilities across geographical
areas/settings, the application of the training manual may need to be adapted for
local needs.
